Serengeti Flying Twilight Photo 1
Tanzania air safari will take you and your family on unforgettable scenic flight seeing tour. flying tours and travel by air, experience Africa by air, sport wildlife, animal migration, remote luxury tented camps and lodges. Air safaris in Tanzania not only saves considerable travel time but provides tourist the benefit of viewing spectacular regions. A flying safari can cut journey times between safari destinations and can be

arranged for most locations. Normal road safaris can also include isolated flying trips to cut on travel times. Typical flying times range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes. Tanzania Flying safaris include two game drives for every full day spent at a lodge or tented camp.

These game drives are carried out in the lodge's vehicle and private transport will not be available to clients, unless requested

Serengeti Air Safari - If an extended driving safari is not going to work for you, there is an option to fly to different National Parks, then you may consider a flying Safari to the northern circuit e.g. Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National park.  

Day1: Arrival Day:
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport Tanzania and meet and greet by African Safaris and Adventures tour guide, and then transferred to your Hotel for dinner and overnight - Accommodation: Arusha Coffee Lodge.

Day 2 Arusha – Serengeti
Fly from Arusha to Serengeti National Park. On your arrival you will be met by your drive guide at the air strip then continued with game viewing at Serengeti National Park. Evening drive to your Serengeti Sopa Lodge Hotel – Serengeti Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Information on Serengeti - Endless Plains of Nature's Wonders: The Serengeti National Park, covering 14763 square kilometers is one of the world's largest wildlife sanctuaries. One of the most breathtaking events in the animal kingdom, the migration of thousands of wildebeest takes place here every year. The Serengeti, 320 kilometers from Arusha, was gazetted in 1951. It was accepted by the World Heritage Convention as a World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve in 1981.

Day 3 Serengeti
After breakfast leave with your packed lunch for game drive on the Serengeti Park acacia Savannah in the central to the east region.

Around 12.30pm and 13.00pm break for your picnic lunch; thereafter proceed with tour afternoon game drive. In mid January to February, much to mid April, 95% of females

of wildebeest mate to a total of 60000 then 8 to 8.5 months later those females that conceived give birth on the same southern plains after a long travel. Evening drive to your Serengeti Sopa Lodge Hotel – Serengeti Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Serengeti – Nairobi/Arusha
After breakfast transfer to the Airstrip for your flight back to Arusha

Tanzania Air Safari Option Two
Tarangire Flying Safari Tour 03 Days / 02 Nights
Tarangire National Park has some of the highest population density of elephants in Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes it a beautiful and special location.   Tarangire National Park offers unparalleled game viewing including gazelle, wildebeest, zebra, and giraffes.  Breathtaking views of the Masaai Steppe and the mountains to the south make a stop at Tarangire a memorable experience.

Day 01: Arusha – Fly to Tarangire
Morning pick up from your Arusha hotel and transferred to Arusha Airport for schedule flight to Kuro Airstrip in Tarangire National Park. On arrival met and transferred to the Camp. Afternoon game drive,  Lunch, dinner and overnight at Tarangire Treetops Camp – Oliver’s Camp – Kikoti Camp - Swala Safari Camp.

Day 02: Tarangire National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives.  All meals and overnight at Tarangire Treetops Camp – Oliver’s Camp – Kikoti Camp - Swala Safari Camp.
Day 03: Tarangire National Park – Fly to Arusha
After breakfast, transferred to the airstrip for return schedule flight to Arusha.  On arrival at Arusha airstrip, met and transferred to an Arusha Hotel (lunch and/or use of room will be at an extra cost).

Tanzania Air Safari Option Three
Ngorongoro Crater Flying Safari 03 Days / 02 Nights
A most spectacular game haunt, Ngorongoro Crater is collapsed volcano with prides of lions and other predators such as hyenas and golden jackals as well as prolific plains game, elephants and rhinos.

Lake Magadi in the Crater is home to flamingoes and water birds. The descent into

the Crater floor is exhilarating and breathtaking via a steep, narrow and cliff-lined track – access is only in 4 wheel drive vehicles. The Crater is in a conservation area for preservation the region’s natural wildlife resources and interests of the local indigenous Masaai pastrolists.

Day 01: Arusha – Fly to Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater
Morning pick up from your Arusha hotel and transferred to Arusha Airport for schedule flight to Manyara Airstrip. On arrival met and transferred by road to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.  Lunch at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.  Afternoon at leisure for activities included in the Lodge package.  Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

Day 02: Ngorongoro Crater
Today, enjoy a half day Ngorongoro Crater tour, with remainder of the day at leisure for activities included in the Lodge package.  All meals and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

Day 03: Ngorongoro – Transfer to Manyara – Fly to Arusha
After breakfast, transferred by road to Manyara airstrip for return schedule flight to Arusha.  On arrival at Arusha airstrip, met and transferred to an Arusha Hotel (lunch and/or use of room will be at an extra cost).

Tanzania Air Safari Option Four
Selous Park Flying Safari 04 Days / 03 Nights
The 55,000 sq km Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest protected areas in the world.  Uninhabited and little touched by human interference, the wildlife is spectacular and included the largest mammal populations in Africa. Game viewing is by boat, by vehicle and on foot (with armed ranger) animal sightings include large numbers of elephants, buffalo, wild dog and hippo, as well as lion, leopard, wild dog and plenty of lesser game. This is a bird lover's paradise with over 350 species of bird.

Day 01: Dar es Salaam – Selous
Pick up from a Dar es Salaam hotel and transferred to Dar es Salaam Airport.  Depart on a scheduled departure light aircraft to Selous Game Reserve. Arrive at the airstrip, met and transferred to Camp.  Afternoon enjoy excursions in Camp vehicle (non-exclusive use of vehicle).  Lunch, dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp Selous Safari Camp

Day 02:  Selous Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon excursions.  All meals and overnight at Rufiji River Camp Selous Safari Camp

Day 03: Selous Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon excursions.  All meals and overnight Rufiji River Camp Selous Safari Camp
Day 04: Selous Game Reserve - Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, transferred to the airstrip for return schedule flight to Dar es Salaam.  On arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport, met and transferred to a Dar es Salaam Hotel (lunch and/or use of room will be at an extra cost).
