Rufiji River Camp |

Rufiji River camp is a tented camp situated in the northeastern part of the Selous on a high bank overlooking the mighty Rufiji River and the plain beyond. A superb 270-degree view awaits you. The camp itself is a simple affair, consisting of permanent tented accommodation with open-sided,
palm thatch restaurant and bar.
The camp accommodates guests in 20 very comfortable tents. Each tent has twin beds with mosquito nets, completely equipped private bathroom and comfortable veranda facing a magnificent view.

The central restaurant provides excellent exotic and international cuisine and the menu includes wild impala and warthog, for which the camp has a license to take an allocation each year. Enjoy drinks at the bar, which gives you a wide choice of beverages, while you enjoy the view over the river.
Besides walking safaris and 4wd car excursions, a major attraction is the boat trip along the Rufiji River and the adjoining lakes where hippo, crocodile and 400 species of birds can be observed. Sport fishing facilities are available.
