Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge Hotel is a luxury family resort located on the shores of Lake Naivasha a fresh water lake from the town of Naivasha, Kenya. Lake Naivasha Simba hotel is owned and managed by Simba Hotels & Lodges. Lake Naivasha Simba welcomed its first guests Lake Naivasha Simba Hotel Viewin 2003. The beautiful and green vegetation around the Naivasha Simba Lodge along with the lake experience makes it an excellent rest stop while on Kenya Safari Holiday.

Lake Naivasha Resort particularly is a birdwatchers fantasy, there are over 450 species in the immediate area including the highland escarpments, which surround the lake to the south and west.

Located 90 minutes away from Nairobi by road, Naivasha has long been the place for those seeking to get away from it all. Joy Adamson, author of Born Free made the shores her home, so did Lord Errol and a host of other well-known personalities. At 1880m above sea level, the air is cool, crisp and reinvigorating.

The newly built Lake Naivsha Simba Lodge is situated within walking distance from Lake Naivasha; the walk to the lake shore is about a kilometer along a dusty path. Midway is a gate and electric fence to control the movement of hippos into the lodge grounds. A very high platform on the jetty Beds in Lake Naivasha Simba Hoteloffers a spectacular view of the lake and Mt Longonot, once settled in, you can choose to unwind with a drink in the Kiboko Terrace Bar, a pleasantly furnished area with two huge fireplaces and a veranda overlooking vast, lush lawns from which the path to the lake shore leads. In a sylvan setting of acacia woodland, the lodge’s park-like grounds are visited by a wide variety of birds and wildlife. Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge is a great vacation destination.

Close to Hell’s Gate National Park, with its spectacular gorges and hot springs, and Longonot National Park. Nearby is also Lake Nakuru National Park. A little further north lays Lake Bogoria National Park. The green lawns shaded by acacias and spreading fever trees, that stretch down to the lake’s shore. The Lake Naivasha Simba Hotel offers varied number of sporting activities for both the energetic and more laid back. There is abundant birdlife and several activities in the area such as boat trips, visit to Crescent Island. Meals are a huge affair in the Gardenia Restaurant. There are Swimming Pool in Lake Naivasha Simba Hotelthree small dining areas leading off a central serving point. All meals are served buffet-style and had everything you could imagine — never less than three types of meat, a colourful cold salad, a different vegetarian option every day and a most sinful array of sweets for dessert are available.

Other facilities at the hotel include a free-form swimming pool (including a baby pool) and pool-side snack bar, a pub with large-screen satellite TV, gift shop, conference room and business centre. There is also a fully-equipped gym, complete with steam bath and sauna.

The Lake Naivasha hotel is spread out on vast lands, designed beautifully. With the rooms and eating and leisure areas all segregated, yet not so far from each other, the close proximity to the Lake Naivasha is a plus point. The rooms look really quaint from the outside, giving an instant feeling of warmth, and once inside all the amenities make your stay a comfortable one, The rooms have a lovely view of the gardens Lake Naivasha Simba Conference Centerwhere especially in the morning one is sure to catch sight of the stags. The restaurant displayed a huge spread at the buffet and the service staff is attentive and enjoys working in the hospitality industry.

Naivasha Simba Lodge Accommodation
The Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge consists of 70 superior guest hotel rooms furnished with wrought iron and mahogany furniture and has a step-down sitting area with television. They are clustered in blocks of 10 rooms, with 6 on the ground flour and 4 on the top. The middle two rooms on the top have interconnecting facilities, making it convenient for those with families. The end rooms on either side of the block also have extra open air showers.

You will enjoy a variety of tempting dishes ranging from Local to Eastern, Indian and International. You are also invited to make dining an adventure by participating in the preparation of your meals. There is a wide screen at the lounge if you wish to catch up with the latest sports action, but if disco is the thing for you then you’ll be at home at the Ibis Pub.
